Cloudstar's Journey[]
- Mistlekit is a young kit in SkyClan born to Hazelwing, along with her littermates, Emberkit, Hatchkit, and Webkit. She, along with her littermates, race to Cloudstar when he returns to camp. They tell him that their mother, Hazelwing, promised he would teach them a battle move. Cloudstar tells them to go wait by a hazel bush, and Mistlekit rushes off with her siblings, leaving Cloudstar alone with Birdflight. While Cloudstar speaks to Birdflight, Mistlekit calls his name from by the bush.
- After Cloudstar explains about the falling trees and the Clan begins to disperse, Birdflight helps Hazelwing round up her kits. Petalfall is mentioned to have shared her piece of prey with Hazelwing and her kits. At the Gathering, Cloudstar mentions that Hazelwing's kits are growing, and wearing everyone out with their games. He also mentions that they will be apprentices in three more moons. A few days later, when Petalfall dies, Hazelwing brings her kits past her body, and all four are mentioned as wide-eyed with curiosity. With SkyClan's prey almost gone, Hazelwing's kits are mentioned to loathe the taste of water vole and complain of hunger the loudest.
- When Cloudstar brings the entire Clan to their last Gathering in the forest, Mistlekit, Webkit, Emberkit, and Hatchkit are stumbling behind the queens, too tired from the journey along the river to be excited about attending the Gathering.
